TRI (Poland) and local society
TRI (Poland) is engaged in activities aimed at contributing to our local society.
Grant Program "Aktywne TRI"
Our company is involved in many activities in local society. Also our employees are engaging in various activities such as; sports competitions, education and culture events, being a member of PTA etc. Our Grant program "Aktywne TRI" is created in 2011 and intended to support these employees, who are working for the local community as a volunteer. Among projects submitted by employees, a special commitee selects best projects twice a year. Nominated projects can get financial help from our company for realization of the projects.
Scholarship TRP
Since 2008 our company has been granting „ Scholarship TRI (Poland)” to two Wolbrom’s elementary schools. This scholarship provides financial support to children who do very well at school despite financial problems in their families. Each year our Company designates PLN 20 000 for that purpose. The decision on the scholarship award is taken by the interschool scholarship committee, which comprises both elementary schools’ administration and the TRP representatives. These funds have to be used by children to purchase materials necessary for education.
Support for Wolbrom Judo-Club
TRI (Poland) has been supporting a Wolbrom Judo Club activity since 2000.
We hope that through JUDO, a Japanese traditional sport, children would learn not only techniques to win, but also could develop themselves both in strong body and spirit.

Plant tour
TRI (Poland) is open to cooperate with the local community. We have been organizing plant tours for students from local schools to have opportunity to see our manufacturing process, technological solutions and work organization, which has often helped those young people make their decisions concerning their future careers.

Japanese Culture Day
As a company with Japanese capital we try to bring the culture of the cherry blossom country closer to our community. In cooperation with the Manggha Centre of Japanese Art and Technology in Krakow we organize "Japanese Culture Day" for pupils from Wolbrom's primary schools. The event includes a presentation of the culture and history of Japan, an origami workshop as well as a presentation of the kimono-Japanese traditional dress.
