ENVIROMENTAL PROTECTION IN TRI POLAND

The environmental protection is social responsibility of all of us. Our company has been especially trying to pay particular attention to protect environment in various aspects of our activity and operations. ISO 14001 certificate which we received in 2004, is a proof of it (standard regarding environment management system).

Our contribution to the Environmental protection includes:

1. 99% of the produced waste is processed
   The waste produced by us in majority is subject to the recycling process, as much as 99% of our waste is subject to treatment. Our next goal is the reduction of the volume of generated waste(s).
    
2. Technology for the decrease of environment pollution
   
   A.    Adsorbing-catalytic system
   Volatile organic compounds, generated during the production process, are extracted and thickened on the carbon adsorbers. They are then incinerated in a very high temperature in catalytic afterburner, with the presence of catalytic agent. As a result only compounds not harmful for the environment are released to the atmosphere.
   
   B.    Sewage Treatment Plant
   Industrial wastewater generated during the production process may not be directly released to the sewage system. Therefore, prior to that process the wastewater is pretreated: first neutralized, than filtered by means of sediment traps and sand filters. Chemical compounds in a form of dry deposits are directed to the waste treatment company. The sewage water cleared in such way is directed to the municipal sewage system. The sewage treatment process is fully supervised and monitored.
    
3. TRP Environment Fund
   In 2007 we created TRP Environment Fund. Finances generated are obtained from the sale of waste generated in our plant (plastic, aluminum). The idea of this fund is to support the ecological education of children and youth of the gmina of Wolbrom.
